{"id":882,"date":"2018-11-27T09:17:28","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T12:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carbon2mine.es\/?page_id=882"},"modified":"2023-03-08T13:40:55","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T12:40:55","slug":"resultados","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/carbon2mine.es\/index.php\/resultados\/","title":{"rendered":"RESULTADOS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tRESULTADOS\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Un total de 4000 hect\u00e1reas mineras se convertir\u00e1n en el laboratorio en el que el carbono de la atm\u00f3sfera se devolver\u00e1 a la tierra a trav\u00e9s de los bosques y pastizales<\/p>\n\t<p>El proyecto pretende el secuestro de carbono a trav\u00e9s de la gesti\u00f3n sostenible de bosques y pastizales para la mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico y la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad en \u00e1reas mineras. As\u00ed como, revertir los procesos de emisi\u00f3n de gases de efecto invernadero asociados a la miner\u00eda del carb\u00f3n, restaurando el entorno natural en el que est\u00e1n localizados, y mejorando la capacidad de sumidero de carbono (suelo y biomasa) a trav\u00e9s de la <strong>gesti\u00f3n sostenible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tImpactos\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Con todo ello, <strong>podemos enmarcar conceptualmente el proyecto<\/strong> que se describe a continuaci\u00f3n como un proyecto que pretende ser <strong>un modelo de gesti\u00f3n del territorio para promover el efecto sumidero y que ayude a<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><u>1. Minimizar la huella de carbono,<\/u> distinguiendo zonas arboladas, o susceptibles de serlo como modelo \u00f3ptimo, de zonas no arboladas con vocaci\u00f3n pastoral o de restauraci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica para la mejora de la biodiversidad.<\/p>\n<p>En las zonas de vocaci\u00f3n forestal se propone el estudio de modelos o itinerarios selv\u00edcolas que maximicen la fijaci\u00f3n de carbono en sumideros forestales, seleccionando para estas zonas con tres tipos de usos: producci\u00f3n de biomasa forestal, producci\u00f3n de madera de calidad o conservaci\u00f3n. En este \u00faltimo caso, es una apuesta firme; el estudio de modelos selv\u00edcolas de gesti\u00f3n forestal de muy baja intensidad en masas de poca productividad o destinadas a conservaci\u00f3n (Red Natura 2000), que maximicen su capacidad de fijaci\u00f3n de carbono, tanto en el suelo como en la vegetaci\u00f3n, como su diversidad en composici\u00f3n y estructura espacial.<\/p>\n<p>En aquellas zonas desarboladas se promover\u00e1n diferentes pr\u00e1cticas para disminuir la huella de carbono y mejorar la econom\u00eda circular acorde a the Farm to Fork Strategy.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><u>2. Restaurar las \u00e1reas degradadas de miner\u00eda<\/u>, para mejorar tanto su capacidad de almacenamiento y secuestro de carbono, como la biodiversidad y el suministro de servicios ecosist\u00e9micos en este territorio.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><u>3. Implantar la econom\u00eda circular<\/u> en la gesti\u00f3n del territorio forestal y ganadero, abri\u00e9ndose una l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n con la incorporaci\u00f3n de cenizas procedentes de la combusti\u00f3n de biomasa en la Central T\u00e9rmica de La Pereda (HUNOSA) como fertilizante, o bien para aumentar el contenido de carbono en suelo en \u00e1reas arboladas, pastizales, etc.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><u>4. Descarbonizar la generaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica<\/u>, a trav\u00e9s del aprovechamiento de biomasa forestal, estudiando nuevos modelos selv\u00edcolas orientados a la producci\u00f3n de biomasa forestal en terrenos forestales aptos.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>5. Promover un <u>nuevo modelo de reactivaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica<\/u>, a partir del fomento de actividades empresariales encuadradas dentro del \u00e1mbito forestal, as\u00ed como del cuidado y protecci\u00f3n medioambiental, con una notable capacidad de generaci\u00f3n de empleo, atracci\u00f3n de poblaci\u00f3n y de dinamizaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda local y en particular del entorno rural.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/carbon2mine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/resultados.png\" alt=\"resultados\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"348\" width=\"582\" title=\"resultados\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\">\n\t<p><em><strong>En resumen, se trata de definir una estrategia y planificaci\u00f3n territorial, forestal y silvopastoral que permita optimizar la capacidad de almacenar carbono a nivel comarcal, promoviendo diferentes usos y esquemas de gesti\u00f3n forestal a nivel local.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h6>\n\t\tEn concreto, el proyecto pretende establecer un modelo de gesti\u00f3n del territorio replicable en su entorno m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo, estudiando el balance de carbono final en una superficie forestal aproximada de 3.850 ha, que actuar\u00e1 como una verdadera granja de carbono.\n\t<\/h6>\n\t<p>La<strong> importancia de considerar estos terrenos y no otros donde ensayar estos modelos, se debe a cuatro caracter\u00edsticas importantes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<p><strong>La diversidad de usos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Los usos del suelo actuales, donde podemos encontrar terrenos dedicados a la producci\u00f3n forestal intensiva, superficies forestales abandonadas, superficies dedicadas a pastos, masas forestal de alta diversidad biol\u00f3gica, etc.<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>\u00danica titularidad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Todos estos terrenos pertenecen a una \u00fanico propietario(la compa\u00f1\u00eda Hulleras del Norte, S.A.), que adem\u00e1s act\u00faa como miembro del consorcio.
